Chocolate cake with Happy Birthday Bear

First Birthday!

This past weekend we celebrated our son’s first birthday! We had a blast but, we are a little tired from the festivities. To make this week easier, I’m using a rotisserie chicken for a few of our meals and we are repeating a few meals. Feel free to change this up to fit your family’s needs. Baby

To modify meals for our baby, I’m leaving off salt and we will add it at the table. I’m also cooking frozen vegetables such as broccoli and spinach or roasting carrots and zucchini. We received a Kevin’s garlic chicken meal in our grocery order by mistake. To put it to good use while also reducing the sodium content, I will rinse the chicken and use a smaller portion of the sauce.

Picky Eaters

Typically, our entire family eats the same meal so I selected meals that are buildable at the table. This makes cooking dinner easier, plus I feel good when everyone has something they can enjoy (even the pickiest eaters)!
